 Green Loans Program

This program is to help families to install solar, water saving and energy efficient products.

There are 2 main components to the program:

  1. A free home sustainability assessment & report
  2. Access to a green loans subsidy provided to participating financial institutions to cover up to 4 years interest for borrowing up to $10,000 to implement the recommended changes from the free assessment report.

CW CMA Incentive Programs - November 2009 - The below programs are still open as of the 1.2.10

The CWCMA presently has 2 rounds of funding open.

  • Increasing Soil Carbon - be paid upto $3000 for using management practices which increase soil carbon. Click here to find out more.
  • Small Grants - small groups and schools are eligible to apply for up to $2000 for educational purposes. Click here to find out more. 

 

 

 

FarmReady Program

  • Eligible particpants are able to claim $1500 per financial year to attend approved training courses. You are also able to access funds to cover travel, accommodation, meals and accommodation associated with attending the course.

    Habitat Action Grants

    This grant offers upt o $30,000 for projects that enhance fish habitat. This may include the re-snaging of creeks and rivers, fencing to exclude stock for waterways, alternative watering points for livestock, bank revegetation, etc.

    Household Rebates

    The federal government has rebates available for the following:

    • Purchase & installation of rainwater tanks between 2,000 & 3,999 ltrs will be eligible for a rebate of $400.
    • Purchase & installation of rainwater tanks larger than 4,000 ltrs will be eligible for a rebate of $500.
    • Installation of greywater treatment systems will be eligible for a rebate of $500.

    • A $1600 rebate is available for owner-occupiers, landlords or tenants to replace exisiting electric strorage hot water systems with an eligible heat pump.
