The LRLG Board of Management work with a competent and passionate group of employees. LRLG practices a flexible work environment, recognising that our staff are important members of the broader catchment community and that they need time to meet their family and voluntary commitments.
Catchment Manager: Mr. Fergus Job
Fergus was employed by LRLG in June 2005 after receiving funding from the National Landcare Program -Community Support Component, for the appointment of a Catchment Manager.
Fergus has a Bachelor of Management from University Of Sydney and a history in earthmoving, stud livestock and feedlotting. He and his fiance, breed Shorthorn cattle and enjoy stockhorses in their spare time. Fergus is a volunteer with the Rural Fire Services.
Fergus was appointed to the Central West Natural Resource Management Reference Group in 2007 and sat on the Landcare NSW Committee during 2008.

Education / Projects Manager: Mrs. Pip Job

Pip is a local landholder in the Cumnock district and has been with LRLG since December 2004. Pip is currently studying a Bachelor of Ecological Agriculture through Charles Sturt University as an external student. Pip and her husband produce beef cattle using Holistic Management principles. Pip is the President of the Cumnock P&C.
Funding was initially sourced from the Mid-Macquarie Landcare Group to seek administrative assistance due to the growth of the group and the need for a professional approach. Pip's employment has since been funded through various funded projects. Pip now designs the organisations educational programs and manages a number of projects. Pip is also on the Womens Sub-Committee.

MERI Officer: Mark Pickford
Mark commenced his employment with LRLG in 2007 as part of the CWCMA Round 5 project to deliver the monitoring and reporting of all projects. Mark and his family run a grazing operation at Cumnock, where they practice sustainable farming practices.
Mark has a diploma in Conservation & Land Management and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Mark is proficient in the use of ArcGIS and the Land Management Database and uses these programs to spatially map all of the Little River Landcare Groups activities and projects. Mark is the Deputy Group Captain for the Bournewood Fire Brigade and holds an upper management level within the Orana Zone of the RFS.

Administrative Officer: Michelle Gianisis

Michelle commenced employment with LRLG in 2008 to deliver all of the general office duties and financial control. Michelle collates the monthly newsletter - The Big Picture - and manages the affairs of the management committee of Little River Landcare. Michelle is a volunteer with the Cumnock Rural Fire Services.
