LRLG Board
The LRLG Board comprises of up to 3 delegates from each of the 5 sub-catchments being Cumnock, Yeoval, Baldry, Northern (Arthurville, Suntop & Curra Creek) and Toongi. Each of these delegates are elected by the members within those sub-catchments.
The board of management for Little River Landcare Group offer their time and services on a voluntary basis. The governance of the organisation has been reviewed to ensure the organisation operates ethically and appropriately. Business systems are internally audited to ensure correct systems and processes are in operation. As a constitutional requirement the financial records of the Little River Landcare Group are audited externally each financial year.
The Board are complimented by a number of working sub-committees, such as the Carbon sub-committee, the womens sub-committee and the partnerships sub-committee.

Mr. Ian Atkinson

Ian Atkinson - Ian & his wife Pru own 'Gundabooka' at Cumnock where they presently agist cattle in a planned grazing system. Ian has been an LRLG board member for 10 years & has over 40 years experience working & volunteering with local community organisations such as Cumnock Bush Fire Brigade, Cumnock School P&C, Cumnock Progress Ass, Cumnock Squash Club, Cumnock Campdraft Committee, Cumnock Show Society & many, many more. Ian has a passion for deep sea fishing and has an extensive career as a trained land surveyor & engineering surveyor. This included the layout of railway to Hamersley Iron Ore Mine and the Irrigation Schemes at Trangie-Nevertire-Buddah Lake & Auscott. Ian is a Sub-catchment representative for Cumnock.

Mr. Rob Lee

Rob & his wife Kim, operate a mixed farming operation on their family farm 'Coorah' at Larras Lee in the Cumnock sub-catchment. Their business has a focus to increase the capacity of the family business, to have positive environmental consequences, while maintaining profit.
Rob has been the chairman since 2007 and has completed a Cert IV in Corporate Governance & is a representative of the Cumnock Sub-catchment.

Mr. Darrell Hodges

Darrell Hodges - Darrell is a 5th generation farmer at Baldry, running a mixed farming operation with his father. They run prime lambs, cattle, wheat, barley & oats at 'Baldrugery'. Darrell is involved with the local community playing sport and is a volunteer with the Rural Fire Service. Darrell attended Agricultural College before returning to the farm and has been involved in off farm investments including selling development land and working with Councils. Darrell has also completed the Business of Farming Course. Darrell is a Baldry Sub-catchment representative.

Treasurer
Mr. Andrew Vaughan

Andrew is the 6th generation on the family farm "Iona" at Obley. Together with his wife Nicollette, they run a mixed farming operation of sheep, cattle & cropping. Andrew is also a spraying & trenching contractor. Andrew is the Treasurer of the Washpan Bushfire Brigade and enjoys playing Rugby for the Yeoval Eagles and is passionate about anything that flies (not the insect kind....ones with engines!). Andrew is a sub-catchment representative for Baldry. |

Mr. Nigel Kerin

Nigel Kerin and his wife Kate, own a number of properties in the Yeoval area, breeding Merino's and running trade stock and mixed cropping. Nigel was the 2008 NSW Farmer of the Year. Nigel is a representative of the Yeoval Sub-catchment.

Robert Armstrong - Rob is a Yeoval Sub-catchment representative and runs a mixed farming operation between Cumnock & Yeoval. Rob is a graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Management (Farm Business). |

Gina Parkes - Gina & her husband Andrew run a small mixed farming and grazing property north west of Wellington and operate the Lynwood Border Leicester Stud. Gina has 3 children and she works full time as R/Campus Administrator for TAFE Western Wellington College managing the campus & ensuring a commitment to quality customer service, continuous improvement & team work. Gina has been heavily involved in her local community including past secretary of the Wellington Show Society, is presently the secretary of Arthurville Landcare and is involved with the Wellington Little Athletics Club, Wellington Junior Soccer Club and Wellington Learning Community Committee. Gina is a representative of the Northern Sub-catchment. Gina is also the Chair of the Women's sub-committee. |

Scott Tourle - Scott and his wife Liz and their 3 children live at 'Naroo' & 'The Springs' in the Toongi area which has been in their family since 1840. Scott farms approximately 11,500 acres with sheep, self replacing Merinos and 1st cross lamb production. They also use some pasture cropping, goats and cattle. Scott & Liz operate 'Oxley Downs' which is a small tourism venture. Scott was involved with Dubbo Rotary for 13 years including 1 year as the President and he & his family are heavily involved in the Rural Fire Service. Scott has undertaken many educational opportunities and is a representative for the Toongi Sub-catchment. |

Ray Parkes - Ray is married with 3 kids and has a property at the foot of the Catombal Ranges in the Curra Creek area. Ray mainly runs cattle and is employed as a rural farmhand and fencing contractor. Ray has been involved with Landcare for quite some time, including representation on Mid Macquarie Landcare. Ray represents the landholders of the Curra Creek area in the Northern Sub-catchment. |
