Projects

Little River Landcare has successfully delivered $9.9 million worth of projects since 1998 until September 2010. During the 2009-2010 period, we sucessfully secured $663,420 in funding which had a total project value of $1,154,635 including cash and in-kind contributions. These funds have come from landholder contributions and funding from government and philanthropic organisations. We are very proud to have partnered with some of the nations most progressive government programs, including the national Landcare Program, Caring For Our Country, Envirotrust and the Natural Heritage Trust.

During the 2009-2010 period, Little River Landcare ran 47 educational sessions, including workshops, seminars, training programs and bus trips. This was an investment of $307,825 of funds to run these educational sessions. We educated over 880 people with an in-kind contribution of $274,000 from the participants.
